Aagman.

Do you like this post?

Somewhere in the blazing dirge of monotony,
Fumes my pyre in angst, of desires, of dreams...of the many unfulfilled.
To times, where it was infinite, of times too many when it was null.
Blithe, in the charred scaffold of what I persevered to save,
Memories,
 Wishes,
Desires and dreams,
 And the ones unheard of, that I will, from fire to flame.
It lies somber, Chimera, again.
It all begun, when I was younger still,
When I knew less of all, unkind;
Trivial. Trivial to where I was, what I was, and what was to become of me.
A mellow chirp, a slight laugh, a bruised knee and a still brazen walk,
There was no beckoning;
Always something to smile for, something brilliant in my sight, another mystery nature unfurled to my eyes...
It took me by surprise, the breath-taking simplicity of a complex symbiosis,
The many dimensions I could see, the many I wished to
Believer, always itching to learn, etching knowledge, and eager to find
Always, in a place of my own.
A midst nonchalance, is where shadows find a brook.
 Breaching, like from a valley, all that was confined.
It is also where they found me.
Here, sublime.
Glistening a far, closer still, faint and hollow dreams became.
Daunted by dark, tainted, breached by some sort of sorcery,
A Sorcerer’s apprentice.
And from what? The dirge of familiarity.
More of unknown, of the many known.
That is where I lost my lead that is where Chimera came forth.
That is where I began from a former self, like we all do, from things ashore into the sea.
And now that I am duly sunken, there’s just always enough light and never a shadow.
A slight quiver sometimes in the fire,
A little rummaging and it be sorted, from another of those that once quivered.
All a part of what flames, all those duly continue and yield from something benign.
All, continuum.

  2. And what do I say? Brilliant? The word is not strong enough to match your work. There is a lot of depth, a lot of subtext and on one look one may find it too heavy. Yet its also as simple as it is complex. Simply loved the way you have mixed ideas and concepts and made it into a flowing text of brilliancy. Always an advocate of the subtext, I simply loved the messages that you convey to your readers. Especially in these dark and tiring times. A very good first post (as far as the blog goes). Looking forward to more...keep up the good work.
